Akshay Shah

Biography

Akshay is an investment advisor for the GIS Options Strategy since 2017. Akshay received a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London in 2013 and has completed the Investment Management Certificate qualification and received the CFA charter in November 2017. Before joining GIS he traded currency and equity index futures based on short term technical analysis for a year. After his University studies he joined the graduate scheme at BlackRock as part of the Portfolio Analytics Group, where he focused on developing, maintaining and automating the firm’s risk reporting capabilities across various asset classes.
