A regulated and trustworthy service

Our UK regulator the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) granted Global Investment Strategy UK Ltd additional regulatory permission as an Authorised Payment Institution (API) under the Payment Services Regulations 2009 (PSRs). This regulatory framework is designed to ensure that payment services providers offer a transparent and trustworthy service. We are charged with keeping up to date with regulations and ensuring we remain compliant.

We use a combination of outsourced solutions, internal R&D on technology and robotics plus integration with our tier-1 global counterparties to deliver a seamless service to our clients. UK and Global Services

As an Authorised Payment Institution, GIS can provide payment service solutions in the UK as well as other European Economic Area ("EEA") states through a cross-border notification arrangement known as 'passporting’.

GIS can apply to establish a physical presence in any member state, for example opening an office, or using an agent based in that state, to provide cross-border services. This means GIS is better positioned to adapt and grow in the post-Brexit era as we develop the range of services that we offer to our global clients.

At present the approved Payment Services Activities we provide to our clients are:

• A full range of payment account services. Funds can be placed on a payment account, and all the required operations for managing that account can be accessed.
• Global money remittance.
